Dr Mincu is an established scholar and well known for her work in Italy and beyond. She engaged with teacher education from an improvement perspective, in her capacity as counsellor for a large NGO in Italy – Fondazione per la Scuola/Compagnia di San Paolo, as well as through her scholarship that reached key international audiences (e.g. the BERA and RSA contribution to Research and the Teaching Profession, her scholarship related to teacher education for the WCCES, the World Council of Comparative Education Societies in connection with colleagues from around the world).
